About your Tiger Woods comments about his huge fall in public esteem.....

I just saw the movie "Young Victoria", and it protrays huge negative public reaction to her actions that (according to the movie) caused a government to fall. She marries Albert and is popular again, and one of her enemies says he can't understand it; "They hated her", he says. The response, "They never hated her, they were just angry with her." Perhaps it will be so with Tiger, we'll see.....

Your TGC comments and rationale regarding the popularity of the tour with and without Tiger was self serving and bogus.

"A Good Walk Spoiled" was/is a wonderful book. Had you written it in 2000 after TW had rewritten the definition of quality golf for the next milennium and you had mentioned him accordingly, no doubt the book would have spent 30-36 months on the bestsellers list, instead of the measly and paltry 8 months it did. I am pretty sure I am right about both of the above statements.

Also, you stated ONLY 50% of the people will not watch golf if Tiger is not on? ONLY?? If the two starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl do not play next month, 99.9543% of the normal TV audience will be there.

If you would promise on the air to take back the above statements during halftime, I guarantee another 5M viewers would watch.

Like my Dad used to tell me, "I don't know what goes through that mind of yours sometimes". Do you ever proof your stuff BEFORE you hit the send button?
